The historic renovation of Marquette University’s St. Joan of Arc Chapel, for which Ring & DuChateau provided lighting design as a subconsultant to The Kubala Washatko Architects (TKWA), has been recognized by Partners for Sacred Places with a Faith & Form Honor Award for Religious Architecture/Restoration.
The chapel was originally constructed in France around 1420. When it fell into disrepair more than 400 years later, the ruins were moved and reconstructed on a New York estate, then moved and reconstructed again in 1965 on the Marquette campus.
Partners for Sacred Places is a national, non-sectarian, non-profit organization that brings together a national network of professionals to foster the active community use of historic, sacred places and build the capability of their congregations.
